Welcome... to Kernstown UMC!
We are located just outside of the city limits of Winchester, VA on the historic Rt. 11 (Valley Pike). Our church has been around long enough to have witnessed many U.S. and Confederate soldiers marching by (the buildings are different, but the church fellowship has been here since 1838). While we value our history and heritage, we celebrate the present and eagerly anticipate the future God has for us!
We welcome you to learn more about Kernstown. Take some time to see who we are, why we do what we are doing, and how excited we are to be Christ Followers and United Methodists. Here at Kernstown, we simply say, “Welcome Home”
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” (Romans 15:13 NIV)
Blessings and grace,
Clay
Our purpose is to make disciples, sharing with all persons the Good News and inviting them into a living relationship with Jesus Christ.
