Answer:
Not at this time. We send all of our funds to C-CAP, Winchester Rescue Mission, or Salvation Army.
What are the worship times?

We have two worship services and they are at 8:30 and 11:00.

When is the pastor in the office?

Mon. 9-4, Tues-Thurs 9-12, other days by appointment.
What are the Church office hours?
Answer:
The church office hours are Monday – Friday, 9:00 – 3:00 except for Federal holidays.
How do you join Kernstown?
Answer:
You can join by transfer of membership, profession of faith, or reaffirmation of faith. You will need to let Pastor Clay know of your interest to join.
Are the people really as friendly as they seem?

What is a United Methodist Church?
Answer:
We are a covenant community dedicated to making disciples for Jesus Christ. We make a solemn promise to God and the congregation to uphold the church with prayers and with our presence, our gifts, and our service. We seek to live a life of holiness and discipleship to Jesus Christ.
Do you have a youth program?
Answer:
We have a youth director, Craig Durfor, who works closely with the Middle and High School students. We have a volunteer for the children’s ministry which includes toddlers to 10 year old children.
Do you have Sunday School?
Answer:
Yes, we have Sunday School at 9:30 each Sunday. We offer classes from Preschool to Adults.
Do you have adult education?
Answer:
Yes, we have adult Sunday School on Sundays at 9:30.
What kind of music do you have?
Answer:
We have a wonderful choir, winds ensemble, chancel ensemble, and hand bells.
Do you have a contemporary service?
Answer:
No. Both services are traditional.
What is the average age of your congregation?
Answer:
This is a good question. Kernstown is blessed to be abundant with various age groups ranging from active adults, to young families and singles and we are certain you will find your appropriate age group at Kernstown.
